Andrew Webb is a guitar player, song writer and singer.
Andrew has been a member of numerous bands in the Sydney scene over the last 15 years, which include Mach 1, Lisa Maxwell’s Dish and most recently Deluxe Royale, emerging as a unique artist.
Andrew’s music bridges the gap between blues, roots and sounds of the beach side suburbs of Sydney in which Andrew grew up. Since starting with a few low key solo shows in 2001, Andrew has opened for such acts as Jeff Lang, Mick Hart, The Backsliders Chris Whitley and most recently Chris Wilson. Andrew’s live performances are constantly pushing the frame work of his acoustic music, in the realm of blues and improvised music, whilst never losing sight of the listener’s enjoyment.
At a 2004 show Mick Hart stated Andrew was “the most inspirational artist” he had seen in his travels.
