After returning from a number of years spent living in New Zealand, Grant has been writing prolifically for both the piano and the guitar, citing the song writing team of Lennon/McCartney, Ryan Adams, Tim Rogers, and John Mayer as major influences. Following on from the independent release of his 2007 EP ‘Sweetness and Light’, Grant’s new album is a fresh take on pop music honed in a pub rock town. In addition to his recent east coast tour including dates in Newcastle, Sydney and Melbourne you’re likely to find Grant playing such respected Newcastle venues as The Cambridge, Northern Star, Prince Of Wales, View Factory and the Beaches to name a few.
