G.Nunan grew up on a farm in northern Victoria. Playing his guitar and amp as loud as he liked to the sounds of Jimi Hendrix and the like was enjoyed by many of the cows on neighbouring properties. By the mid 90's he traded the cows for real people, developing his chunky blues chops in the Melbourne scene.Over the years, some highlights have been playing guitar and singing with, or supporting, beautiful inspiring people including Kate Ceberano, Geoff Achison, Deep Purple, Kenny Wayne Sheppard, Richard Clapton and members of The Royal Crown Revue amongst many other wonderful people. As well as playing around the Sydney music scene, interstate and abroad when he can, G. Nunan has been hosting his own Blues Jam at the intimate In Situ Bar in Manly since 2006. The Blues Jam is on every Sunday night and has gained a reputation and following for the fun night it is.G. Nunan is flanked by two inspiring and gifted musicians, Aaron Houston on bass and Steve de Wilde on drums. |
