Charlotte Rose is an aspiring young singer/songwriter, working her way into the Sydney music scene. She has been performing for the past six years, and gigging regularly as part of a duo for the past two. She is passionate about the folk genre, and has performed at numerous Folk Festivals around NSW. This past winter, Charlotte has played a regular slot at the Jindabyne Rydges Hotel, singing by night and snowboarding by day. Her original songs draw from her acoustic background, with a unique flavour of her very own.
Zach Odgers has been performing on the local Northern Beaches music scene for the better part of the last two years, and in the early months of 2015 decided to expand his sound by recruiting a band. Enter Jonno Keen on bass and Monjie Echevarria on the drums. Together the three of them became Zach Odgers & The East Coast Low. Named after the cyclonic weather system that passes over the east coast of Australia at the beginning of the colder months every year, the band promises to be equal parts destructive and harmonious, bringing stories of love, loss and everything in between mixed with catchy indie folk choruses and rock and roll aesthetic and creativity that doesn’t just come to town once a year, but all year round.
He has toured nationally and internationally, appeared on TV & radio with artists: Celine Dion, Jim Conway, Joshua Kadison, Ian Moss, Southbound, Lior, Equals Three, MOFO and FreeRide. “I’ve been privileged to have played countless live gigs and enjoyed being a workshop and private Guitar teacher for over 17 years. So after so many years of playing other artists songs I’m keen to explore my own songs and see where I can take them.”
Allie and Ivy
Allie & Ivy is Sydney indie electropop band fronted by singer-songwriter, Aleisha (Allie) Conlay, with Matt Edwards (guitar), Anika Evans (keys), Nick Shea (bass) and Felipe Martelo (drums) making up the band. But where’s Ivy, you ask? Well, Ivy is a more mysterious kind of being…Originally a solo artist but only as a result of not being able to find a band, Allie conjured up alter ego, Ivy, to join her on her musical adventure giving her the comradeship, courage and support she was lacking. In 2017 the heavens opened up and magically presented Allie with the musicians she’d been searching for. Now, Allie & Ivy are a force to be reckoned with. Allie & Ivy’s fresh sound and penchant for catchy hooks and infectious melodies have gained accolades through both national and international blog love and radio play, along with ongoing success in the International Songwriting Competition (2014, 2016) and the Unsigned Only Music Competition (2015, 2016, 2017). Allie & Ivy are keeping busy for the rest of 2017 with new songs ready to drop, a debut EP underway and a bunch of gigs booked as they hit up the Sydney live music circuit.
